A: Typical light amber that you would expect from an IPA but a little lighter than most double IPAs, surprisingly. Decent head that fades fast and leaves lots of lacing.
S: Kind of surprising, pretty subtle smell. I detect a bit of pine and some malt.
T: Pretty well balanced. This is a pretty decent sized beer but the malt backbone prevents the hops from being overpowering. Lingering bitter pine on the back end that lasts a surprisingly long time.
M: Decent heavy as you would expect a double IPA. Has that oily hop mouth coating feeling that you get from bigger IPAs. Not crisp at all, sticks around for a while.
O: Quite a nice double IPA, made better by the fact that it's easily accessible and is relatively inexpensive.
