Poured from 12oz bottle.
A- Poured a light golden yellow color. Not expecting this at all...very clear too! Two finger white head stays for a little bit leaving thicker streaking lacing on the glass.
S- Tons of fresh citrus hops in this. Some light malts in the background that come in small hints but this is very hop forward. The only downfall for the aroma is it has only one hop profile to it. Where is the piney earthy hops at??
T- Big hop kick in the front of this. Citrus hops explode onto the palate first. Some light malt backbone throughout the beer but you can't really taste it except in a quick flub by the hops. Some light pine backing into the ending of the beer. Very hop forward of a beer...looks like the east coast has been taking some notes.
M- Medium mouthfeel. Carbonation is good for the style. A little heavy sometimes on the palate during certain times while I was drinking. Citrus hops left resin all over the teeth and palate. Some light piney hops in the aftertaste with a light bready malt. Crisp flavors overall.
D- This was a easy drinker that I had a hard time putting down. The east coast looks like it is wanting to gain some DIPA justice that the west coast has been seeing for years. This beer is something that should be tried. It just might surprise you!

While still better than the majority of mass-produces beer, this is a representation of the style I am not fond of. It's all hops with just a bit of malt sweetness before the hops take over.
Pine-y resins of hops comes through on the pour, with a pale wheat-straw colour giving up a decent-sized head that dissipated quickly, leaving very little lacing. The taste was as I described above - you get a malty sweetness on the tongue that quickly gives way to the 4 varieties of hops used in this brew. This BA cannot taste any hidden notes of fruits. Finish is very dry & bitter, and this lingers for quite a while on the palate. Mouthfeel is decent, a little thick & with good carbonation.
Overall, not a favourite of mine.
