12fl oz bottle poured into my pint glass
Appearance is a very light orange/golden color with a two and a half inch slightly off white head. Great head retention with about a quarter inch staying a top of the beer. Soapy scattered lacing is clinging all over the sides of my glass.
Huge nose orgasm of citrus aromas with the likes of mango, pineapple, tangerine and grapefruit. Pine needle aromas with floral aromatics are also present behind the citrus smell along wtih caramel and bread like malts.
Upfront sweet citrus taste with tangerines and slight grapefruit. Midway is a little bit of caramel along with some mango and grains with a little yeast like flavor. Following is a toasty bread like flavor with cracker malts. Finishing is a dry slightly bitter taste.
Mouthfeel is a tad thing for a DIPA with average carbonation.
Overall I was thrilled with the aroma as it was its best feature. Upon taste I was disappointed as the citrus aroma was not that present in the taste

While still better than the majority of mass-produces beer, this is a representation of the style I am not fond of. It's all hops with just a bit of malt sweetness before the hops take over.
Pine-y resins of hops comes through on the pour, with a pale wheat-straw colour giving up a decent-sized head that dissipated quickly, leaving very little lacing. The taste was as I described above - you get a malty sweetness on the tongue that quickly gives way to the 4 varieties of hops used in this brew. This BA cannot taste any hidden notes of fruits. Finish is very dry & bitter, and this lingers for quite a while on the palate. Mouthfeel is decent, a little thick & with good carbonation.
Overall, not a favourite of mine.
