Nice beer. The alchohol is hidden extremely well.

Excellent beer, but I would not consider it a double ipa

Nice golden amber pour. Not much of a head.
Pine, lemon, citrus and hoppy aroma.
Real nice taste not far away from the aroma. Citrus, pine hoppy taste with a hint of malt.
Crisp, clean mouth feel with a old bitterness behind it.
A pretty good double IPA from ST.

At 8.2% it is impressively easy drinking. My go to IPA.

Beautiful color, bright citrusy hops, hides the alcohol well. Could drink this all year round!

i like the masking of the 8+%. Washes smoothly over the pallet and leaves a nice piney hoppy finish.

A little too malty for my taste. Still, not a bad imperial IPA.

Great beer, balanced 2x ipa. Piney, some hops, goes down smooth. Can drink as a hot weather ipa thanks to the slight lemon rind hint.

Light for an 8.2, almost no bite at the end which may take away from a traditionalist looking for a very biting 2xipa.

I'm thinking it's gonna be their flagship ipa x2. Instead, and although a great beer, but a much safer and fruitier take on an IPA that didn't have the hop kick I was hoping for.

A great double IPA, maybe a little too much accent on the malts.

Almost TOO smooth for a DIPA. Nice, piney hints in the aroma. Hops not as pronounced as I expected. Enjoyed it, anyway.

Look: who cares
Smell: bland
Taste: bland
Feel: appropriate

Double IPAs are supposed to have double the hops. This tastes like a nice clean 1xIPA.

This beer pours a hazy bright gold with a nice white tall head.

Aromas carry hop resin and pine. Some maltiness comes through as well.

Flavor is huge lemon candy and sweetness, along with pine and floral tones. I also get some pepper, cream soda, and more hop dankness.

Mouth is pretty full and nice. Goes down smooth with a good amount of carb. Those intense hops provide that nice bite on the back end.

Lovely beer! Tastes bigger than it may seem. The sweet/bitter balance is great.

Chunky, thick beer with low carbonation. Juicy Fruit gum flavors, hoppy resinous aftertaste. A sipper. This beer would be improved by sharper carbonation and less chalky residue in your yap after drinking it.

Looks. Soft Amber color, not too heady.
Smell. Peachy, fresh, slightly beery.
Taste. Mild hops front to back. Nice fresh sense.
Mouthfeel. Soft, medium body, slightly puckery, a bit fuzzy, must be the peaches.
Overall. Nice solid beer; didn't do anything special for me, but I admit to being dark beer person.

Good, but not great. I expect more from a good brewery like Southern Tier. I really wanted to like this more, but it was average in my book.

look: 4.25 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 4.25 | overall: 4

Look: Light, golden with decent head that disappeared rather quickly

Smell: Slight citrus smell, but overall not much aroma

Taste: Very smooth beer but tastes slightly watered down and bland. Not quite strong enough for my liking

Feel: Goes down very smooth and well carbonated

Overall: Expected more bursting flavors coming from a beer with an 8.2% ABV. However, it is very easy to drink and I would recommend it as a casual summer IPA
