On tap in 16 oz pint glass

A- golden yellow in color with a 1/2" head that had decent stability. lacing was average.

S- for the hop character there is hardly any strong aroma. picking up a bit of vanilla and grassiness but much lighter than anticipated.

T- hops much more evident than on the nose, but pretty well balanced with the malt. after a few sips though you. Know you are drinking a IIPA.

M-nicely balanced and pretty drinkable. decent hop profile and carbonation is about right.

O - nice example of a IIPA. not in the top tier but enjoyable none the less.

Bottle poured into a pint glass(originally reviewed on 9/7/12) Bottled 7/14/12

A - Half finger head that dissipates quickly into a thin cap. Golden in color an crystal clear, decent lacing.

S - All hops in the aroma. Pretty strong pine with resin and citrus.

T - Surprising compared to the smell. Medium bitterness, smooth piney hop flavor, with some bready malt mixed in. Finishes dry.

M - Medium body and carbonation. Very smooth and crisp for the ABV.

O - Very good DIPA. I don't remember enjoying this as much the last time I had it. It must not of been as fresh when I had it previously, as this bottle is just under 8 weeks old.

Pours a crystal clear, classic golden color with a quickly dissipating antique white head. The bouquet consists of citrus, pine, and apricot. The maltiness and hoppiness interact to create a tangy, piney, and sweet nose. Moutfheel is thin and wet, but suits the style. It's not quite as malty as the nose leads one to expect. It's a rather unique tasting IPA. Some pine is present and some Smarties candy. A lot of freshness. Some grapefruit bitterness. Finishes cleanly. Pretty good.

12 ounce bottle poured into a snifter.

A: Pours a medium golden color with a one finger head and some lacing.

S: Citrus and floral hops along with some bready malts and a touch of alcohol.

T: Like the smell, the taste has citrus and floral hops balanced nicely with some bready malts. Slight grassy flavors are present as well. Hides the alcohol well and is easy to drink.

M: Medium bodied with good carbonation.

O: This is a pretty solid DIPA. It's very easy to drink, hides the alcohol well, is tasty, and quite affordable. It's actually one of my go-to IPA's when I don't feel like spending a ton of money.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into an oversized wine glass. 3/4in foamy head dissipates relatively quickly but leaves beautiful lacing. Smells of flowers and hops, not overbearing but delicious. Slick, foamy mouthfeel with a nice malt body balanced well by hop bitterness.
Overall a great beer, a favorite of mine. Hides its alcohol well, and tastes great.

Beautiful color. And you get hit immediately with a Great floral aroma. Smells almost like a wilted flower and balanced by malty sweetness. Tastes even better. I savor every mouthful. Lacing all up and down in your class. One of the best IPAs around. A must try for IPA lovers.
