Poured into a tall glass mug. It's a beauty; dark straw color with a thick three fingers of white head. The tall glass shows off the bubbles floating up and the tall head.
Quite fragrant for a lager. Strong malt/grain smell. A bit of ripe orange and pear.
Well, the taste is strong for a lager too; not up to an ale strong. Sharp bitterness from the hops. The pilsner malt is evident in a larger, strong quantity too. It's like a triple czech pils crammed into a normal glass. Lots of flavor.
Crisp texture, medium body and moderate carbonation.
A great job here. All the best of a normal pilsner brought out extra strong.
