Pours a nice straw yellow color with a two-finger thick white head that retains well and leaves thick ribbons of lacing.
Aromas of bready malts, grass, citrus hoppiness and slight alcohol burn.
Taste is loaded with citrus and grassy hops up front, followed by bready pale malts and wheat taste. The pilsner malts come thru in the finish along with alcohol warmth.
Mouthfeel is medium with crispness up front but has a slight sticky and dry finish.
Overall, this beer has a lot of things going on that don't exactly marry well together. The high ABV % is obvious in the nose and taste, and doesn't help this brew from being a "one and done".
