A: Jet black. virtually no head.
S: Chocolate, espresso, almost a sweet dessert smell.
T: First the creamy taste stands out probably due to the lactose sugars. I get a lot of coffee, chocolate and some caramel. You get a lot of sweetness but its so balanced with the coffee that its not overwhelming.
M: Great mouth feel, its so very smooth and creamy.
O: A great milk stout. I loved it and will be buying again.

Poured from the 12 oz. bottle into a Samuel Smith English tulip pint.
a: Black with just the barest hint of ruby at the bottom, inch and a half tan head receded slowly to rocky surface foam and dense patterned lacing.
s: Dark ripe fruit.
t: Smoky dark malt up front followed by significant hop bite. Smoke and dark fruit aftertaste.
m; Medium. Smooth with considerabel carbonation tingle.
o: Not as sweet as anticipated since it is called a "Double Milk Stout," but a good solid balanced stout.
