12 oz. bottle.
Dark ruby-garnet body. Mostly clear. Small, pinkie finger of light beige head. Some lacing. Plenty of malt and spice on the nose. Gingerbread, molasses, fruitcake malts. Festive blend of spices: nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice (?). One of the "spicier" holiday beers I've smelled.
Singed caramel up front. Slight herbal bitterness follows, quickly overtaken by sweetish malt. Figs, gingerbread, and milk chocolate. Spices gradually increase into the finish. Nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon. Slightly roasted bitterness in the finish. Lingering malt sweetness. Medium-full body with a nice, creamy feel. A very nice, not overly spiced, winter warmer.
