Haven't had any southern tier beers in a while but damn this is a good beer. Will be picking this up in the future for sure.

DOB is 3/15/13 laser etched on the bottle.

very nice looking beer. I left the bottom of the bottle out to keep the yeast separate and this leaves a very clear but not really transparent golden colored beer with lots of bubbles rising to a thin frothy head that leaves small splotches of lacing.

Smells of tropical fruits with a touch of sweet breadiness. Reminds me of hopslam a bit but with less intensity
.
Tastes of bright and tropical fruits, medium bitterness finishing off with a touch of honey sweetness and bready malts.

smooth and filling mouthfeel.

this really feels like a nice IPA that has been taken back a step or two. It has the tropical fruit hoppiness that I love without being too bitter or strong. The bottle conditioning adds to a great mouth feel. A real winner here and like I said above I will be picking this up again.

Poured into a nonic a clear lighter dull golden with a fluffy, sticky one finger white crown atop, the bottle says to decant into a glass,I saw no need.Aromas of grassy/herbal hops over top of nutty malt, not real big but pleasant nose wise.Herbal notes along with a tinge of red onion on the palate,a little tea and mint is noticable,a firm lightly sweet nutty biscuit base holds up to the hops. This a nice APA not gigantic hops but a minty herbal approach that makes it really drinkable, the maltiness is big enough for non hopheads to like this beer as well.Nice job here.
