A: a hazy orange with a large white head packed tightly with little bubbles.

S:tangerine, pineapple, orange rind bitterness cut by caramel and pine. Lots of pine shining through as this bad boy warms up.

T: loads of citrus up front. Lemon, bitter lemon skin, juicy orange, and a little white grapefruit. A breast and malt driven middle gives way to a bitter finish with pine and (surprise) even more acidic citrus. Full of earth.

M: a nice amount of carbonation really brings the flavor to your taste buds.finishes quickly.

O: very sessionable with a ton of flavor. The carbonation and citrus kill it. A must drink. /90

LIVE pours a cloudy straw color, with a touch of light orange. There is a small cap of white froth over top, with a few lines of small, slow-moving bubbles rising to the surface. There's a decent amount of lacing for such a small head, however. I will be generous with the score for its looks because I just love that color!

The smells entering my nose are warm, and complex. I am picking up lots of grains, freshly cut grass, summertime dew, nuts, pine needles, and a subtle hint of citrus fruit aromas. Wow, after tasting this is much more multi-faceted than even the aroma alludes to! Initially, there's tart apple and berries, with a sharp, flowery climax, and then...the toasty, slightly buttery grains in the middle. A very pleasant bitterness washes over the palate in the ending of the flavor.

The body is medium and rather quaff-able. The beer coats the palate rather nicely, and definitely leaves the drinker wanting more after each sip. I'm loving what they did with this 'bottle conditioned pale ale, with 4 types of malts & 4 types of hops.' Complexity wins me over every time as long as it's not too bizarre. This gets my high recommendation - try it without hesitation!

Pours a deep yellowish color, slight haze, half finger of white head

Smell is lemon, grapefruit and citrus. a little pine and a little malt. Outstanding use of Citrus hops in the Dry Hopping.

Taste is a very hop forward APA, Bitter Grapefruit, lemon, Orange, pine, really only a little malt in the flavor. This is more of a session IPA by the taste to me. Which is fine by me.

Mouthfeel is crisp, medium light, well carbonated. Slightly dry, but not as much as a IPA, that is what makes it more of an APA then an IPA.

Wow, Glad this finally made it to my area. This is a really good beer. Certainly the best new APA I have had since PseudoSue, and obviously will be a lot easier to get and a hell of a lot cheaper!

Do not pass it by if you do not like other ST offerings. This one is spot on!

DOB 05/22/13

A: Slightly hazy, bright golden-yellow with a fluffy, white head with plenty of bubbles. Not much retention or lacing at all.

S: Pungent, citrusy hops and tropical fruit with some barny, grassy aromas.

T: Big, bright, juicy, fruity hops. Lots of fresh grass, pine, and tropical fruit. Not overbearing, though, and very much an APA.

M: Super smooth with tons of flavor. Proper body and carbonation.

O: This is one of the better APA's I've had in a long time. Seriously delicious stuff.

A: Dense sunny d orange ( yes i totally disregarded the bottles advice on decanting) with a big billowy 2 figner plus head that was very well lasting (up to five minutes with little signs of decay). Small traces of yeasty goodiness, but not as much as expected with spongy streaks of lace adoring the vessel.

S: Fresh citrus and oranges first arrive on the nose with a soft backing of pine. Love the fresh, juicy nature of the aroma, not everything has to be dry hopped and bitter. Sure signs of late kettle hops with some small fresh wet grass hints.

T: The flavor was crisp, bright in nature, filled with citrusy-orange and grapefruit hopping. Nice graininess and crisp pale nature from the pale malts with a very even toned hopping trasistion. Smooth, bready and gentle piney fade of dryness leaves off the tongue.

M: Crisp mouthful, love a pale that keeps it pale and crisp, fresh and bright feel, medium bodied with a slight creamy nature. Gentle lingering hops adds a nice touch on the fade without being obnoxious.

O: Nice drinkability, feels fresh and young and very crisp. The Hops are fresh upfront wtih a gentle dryness on the close. Very good overall no hesitation on repurchase. The way a good pale should drink.
