Reviewed from tasting notes from 1/11/11
A - Honey-like golden with copper highlights. Plain white head with decent retention.
S - Pine air freshener, some sweetness, some citrus rind.
TMD - Assertive piney hop bitterness, good thick body, nicely balanced malt profile that's quite clean & not at all cloying. Hints of orange rind and grapefruit playing second fiddle. Fairly substantial 6.9% ABV went undetected in the taste. If I had to pick one word to describe this beer, it would be clean.

Notes: Born on by 4/17/14 (consumed 7/1/14). Poured into a nonic pint
A: Pours a light golden color. It forms a 2 finger head of large bubbles. The bubbles floating up in the glass ae also really large. In my nonic pint there is a logo on the bottom and normally there is tons of nucleation - but there is none on this beer. The foam slowly recedes leaving patching lacing.
S: A nice floral scent with some pine and maybe a little sweetness.
T: Follows the nose but with a slight bitter opening.
M: Clean and crisp just the right carbonation. This is refreshing.
O: Not quite sessionable due to the higher ABV (7.3%) and the slight bitter kick. But it is very enjoyable and more than one would not be a problem. This is kind of a go to IPA for me - but it could be uprooted.
