This beer pours a lighter, clearer orange color with a solid one finger head that fades slowly and with lacing with a solid column of bubbles rushing to the top. The smell is a sweet barley malt presence with a bittersweet hoppiness that comes off really light.

The flavor is balanced and the malt more pronounced than in many IPA's. A bitter herbal tatste with a bit of sour lemon involved. Neither the hop or malt profile really disappoints and the overall flavor is nice. The might be the most straightforward IPA I've had in awhile. Seems to want to nail the style rather than push the limits. And for that this is a good brew. I've had less watery IPAs, the body of this really reminds me of Pale ale but it's still not bad.
