Amber color, minimal head. Looks like an IPA! The smell is roses, pears, and deliciousness...ness...ness. The taste is caramel malt quickly overwhelmed by the hops. Bitter but as much flavor as bitterness. The aftertaste is all hops. Sort of like nature's breath freshener. The mouthfeel is crisp and, surprisingly, chewy in the right way. Very nice body. Drinkability is good, although the hops start to weigh on me. Don't blame the beer, though, IPAs are just a bit too hoppy for me generally speaking. This is a nice brew with a good balanced flavor that leans hoppy just the right amount. Nice!
