I picked this up after a magazine said it was one of 2014s IPAs to try. It's a very light color, smell and taste for a 7.3 abv. Lots of citrus and pine but no the strong hops taste I was expecting. It's a cheap 6 pack for such a high alcohol percentage also compared to others. I'll probably stick with dales as my go to IPA.

Purchased at the LCBO as a single. 341ml bottle served at 4deg C in a draught glass.
A- Opens well and pours an ok head that dissipates but the color is fantastic
S- EXCELLENT wow this has a lot of dry hops
T- The dry hops are followed up but boiled hops. Excellent but not as good as the 2x ipa
M- Dry lol.
O- Very good. I look for this on the menu when the pickings get thin
This wonderful IPA went well with.... Oyster Shrimp Crab Gumbo

Pours a slightly hazy light copper body with white head with good retention and beautiful lacing properties. Aromas are wonderfully floral, tropical fruit stand-like, with a nice caramel underbelly. Tastes amazing. Starts out sweet and caramely, before piney and orange zesty hop notes dominate the mid-palate, and candied orange peel comes through on the finish. I like this a lot. What an excellent IPA.
