A - Pitch black and pours with a minimal amount of foam and quickly leaves a light ring behind around the glass, lots of very fine bubbles produced when the glass is swirled.
S - Chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, a little bit of char, coffee, light caramel, and an extremely light dark fruit aroma.
T - Up front is assertively roasty with roasted chocolate, light char, and coffee. Midway through the roasted malt subsides (a little) followed with some plum and dark fruit acidity before finishing with a satisfying lingering chocolate roasty bitterness. As the roasty bitterness lingers there's a light acidity/tartness from the plums that gradually and eventually blends in.
M - Medium body with light carbonation.
O - The plum flavor is very subdued and "just enough" to show up on the radar.
