Poured from a 12oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.

A: The beer is a deep amber color, with a thin off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma contains caramelized rye malts, citrus, some hops and some spice.

T: The taste starts out with sweet flavors of caramel and citrus. Then some breadiness comes in from a hearty malt character. The hops presence is strong but not over-powering and brings a good balance. There’s also some spice deep in the background. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly bready.

M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.

O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid beer to drink for a while.

Pours a dark orange/amber color with a light tan head. Not a lot it but it takes a while for it to fade to a very thick film. Not a lot of lace, though.
Smell is hoppy, rye, some malt and nut.
Taste is similar to the nose though the hops are a bit less prevalent and the balance is better. Malt, rye, hops, nut are pretty well blended.
Mostly full bodied, light effervescence. Warming too. Drinks a lot like a restrained IPA but without the slap upside the face from the resin.

Found the last two bottles in the area for the season...

Pours a deep amber color with a little head and leaves moderate lacing on the glass.

Smells very fruity, maybe apricot, or peach like.

Tastes of rye, with some citrusy, piney hops and some hints of fruit with some hints of caramel and piney hops on the way out. Great use of rye, and overall, quite an exceptional beer.

Moderate body and lighter carbonation, goes down fairly smooth.

Overall, a very solid offering and I will definitely pick some more up either next year, or sooner if I can find it.
