Im sampling a cold growler picked up at the brewery. Thanks for the hospitality Tom!
Beer is poured into a snifter and is a relatively clear copper hue. Tightly packed bleached white head foams up in a spongey 3 cm of head. The head fades to a sturdy edge layer and leaves tight lattice on the glass.
Aroma is some grapefruit rind and a bit of herbal tea hops, smells like an IPA.
First sip reveals an average body with fine gentle carbonation that rolls across my palate with each sip.
Flavor is a brief hit of grainy toffee and malt, this rolls to some rindy hops and a bit of pine sap. I also get a little herbal tea again. A fairly well balanced IPA and not just a huge hop bomb. A nice beer from a new brewery in CT.

16oz can served in a snulip. Can is not dated as far as I can tell. @Roguer sent it to me in a LIF associated with NBS BIF #17.
Pours a somewhat hazy burnt orange with a bit more than a finger of head that settles into a mostly even skin with a few clumps. Smell is WCIPA all the way, grapefruit rind and pine sap, maybe a hint of lemon zest.
Taste is right along the same lines, nice and bitter with a bit of a honeysuckle sweetness, with a nice hefty bitter finish. There's some sweetness, too, that leans a bit toward honeysuckle or orange blossoms.
Mouthfeel is substantial but not heavy. Overall, very nice IPA that is hitting my mood just right today.

Nice refreshing IPA that had a nice combo of citrus hops, orange peel, light grapefruit and sweet malty notes. It was crisp and very easy to put down, a fine session beer.
