Growler shared by 321Jeff complements of I don't know who.

Pours a hazy straw golden color with a thin white head that has nice retention but little lacing or depth. Aroma is a amazingly well balanced blend of typical hefe aromas of yeast, clove, wheat and banana. Strongest notes are wheat and spice with a little pepper in the background. Medium thick bodied with strong fine carbonation. Wheat and clove dominate the flavor, followed by pepper and a mild tangy citrus. Banana, yeast and lemon flavors are present as well but not quite as pronounced as some other versions of this style. Overall incredibly drinkable and refreshing; one of the most well balanced hefes I've ever had.

64oz. Growler provided by Huhzubendah, thanks babydoll!

I'm not the biggest wheat beer fan, but who the fuck does not enjoy a quality Hefeweizen on a warm day?

Poured into a Stone pairing glass and I can already smell it. Pours a traditional cloudy yellow with a bright white and creamy head. Smells wonderful and it full of banana, citrus, clove, and spice. Really fresh and pungent. Taste is so refreshing and bright. Full of flavor and this is incredibly balanced. Great carbonation with some creaminess.

I'm always a little skeptical of such highly hyped beers, but this truly lives up to the hype. About as good as a Hefeweizen can get.

Growler received in a trade with BgThang who is one of the nicest traders I've dealt with on BA.

Appearance: Lemon meringue cloudy body with an egg shell white 2+ finger foam head. Classic Belgian Wit / German Hefe look rather than the standard crappy American Wheat beer appearance. Well done!

Smell: Banana, lemon, bubblegum, and clove combine to make a signature Hefe nose. As crazy as it might sound, the smell reminds me of slightly rotten eggs / sulfer at times!

Taste: Oh baby I feel like I'm at a beer garden in Germany! Clove sings when its cold and the banana takes over as it warms. Lots of delicious grain flavor as well.

Mouthfeel: Spot on.

Drinkability: Drink this one all summer long!

Trade via Chadspivey - arrived slightly leaking but the product turned out just fine!

Poured into my Weihenstephaner Hefe Glass whilst camping on Memorial Day Weekend. A nice pour yields a huge head, just as a Hefe should be. The head recedes slowly down the glass as I eagerly await a sip. Aromas are nicely full of wheat and banana with a touch of the clove.

Tate moves right along with the nose but not so much banana and it gets a slightly tart and citric burst in there mingling with everything else. This is sheer heaven.

Very well done and went very well with a warm summer day. I could drink this all the time if it were available.
