Notes from 2/25/2020.
On tap at the Draft House in Austin and served in a pint glass.
The appearance is dark brown with a thin beige cap which quickly dissipates leaving a thin ring around the glass. 4.00
The aroma is light, sweet and of cherries, and sweet malt. Even though the aroma is light, it smells delicious. 4.25
The taste is just above medium in strength and of sweet malt, a little caramel, a little pine and some alcohol in the finish which is common for this style. 4.25
The mouth feel is just above medium, somewhat creamy, and with low carbonation. 4.00
Overall, this is the kind of beer i could order repeatedly until last call. However, I drink responsibly now. Oh, the memories. 4.25

Had it on tap at a local place. Poured into a shaker pint. Clear dark brown wth thin head and light lacing. Sweet earthy smell and taste. Caramel and a bit of toffee. Good but not great dopplebock.
