A - A pitch black pour with zero head, she looks like a glass full of black coffee.
S - Chocolate and coffee, some dark fruit (prunes?) and some slight caramel sweetness.
T - Very similar to the nose: chocolate and coffee with some dark fruit fading to a finish of bitter dark chocolate and alcohol.
M - No carbonation and a little on the light side. Though the body is medium weight, it could definitely be excellent if it had a little more creaminess.
D - A sipper to be sure, though it is lacking a little character to be truly superb.

Pours opaque black with cola edges. The 1/2 inch tan head settles to a thin ring on top and leaves spots of lace.
The smell is of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, coffee grounds and a hint of vanilla.
The taste is of black coffee, dark chocolate, faint dark fruit and vanilla.
The texture is heavy with medium carbonation.
Drake's isn't trying to reinvent the wheel with this one. What they have done is offer up a fairly standard but, solid imperial stout.

Poured on tap.
A: very dark with about 3 fingers of brown head, looks like the head is from some whipped up chocolate milk.
S: rich chocolate, faint caramel, sweet.
T: moderately sweet, this beer has strong chocolate with burnt caramel to it. The nearly 9% alcohol is non-existent.
M: thick and rich. It is not syrupy, but lightly coats the mouth. Despite good sized head, low carbonation in the mouth.
O: I would love to try this barrel aged. I think it has the right flavors and feel to really become a barrel aged dessert beer. Until then, this may become my go to non aged stout.
