Poured from a 22oz bomber that I got in a trade from stevicus(awesome trader).
Pours with a decent head and a pretty amber color. Not just pretty but awesome for this style.
Smell is all malt and little hops... I don't detect a hint of citrus or hops smell at all.
Taste is the same for the most part. I do taste the hops but the smooth maltiness cover it up... I like it though, its really a different take on an IPA. The IPA's, DIPA's that I have tasted are mostly all about the hop character but this feels like its trying to be defined by its maltiness.
I really wish I could get a growler pour or get to to a place to have a draft because this beer tastes great out of a bottle. I could move this to my trusty stand by if it was readily available. The hoppy character balances all the malt nicely and the ABV is high just like I like it.

22oz bottle poured into a snifter. Consumed at exactly three months after bottling.
A: Hazy caramel color. Fine bubbled off white head retains well at an inch in height. Lots of stubborn lacing.
S: Melon rind, kiwi, pineapple, soft pine aromas. Hints of pine tar and resin. Wafts of toasty malt and thin runny caramel.
T: Fat malt flavors of toasty malt and caramel. Waves of resin and pine. Undercurrents of pineapple, orange, and honeydew melon. Traces of alcohol. Moderate bitterness. Balanced finish of caramel malt flavors and lingering piney bitterness.
M: Substantially fat and round malt texture. A bit chewy even. Mild astringency. A slight tingle of alcohol. Moderate carbonation. Very round and smooth.
O: Very well balanced. It reminds me of a Bear Republic brew. Lots of great hop flavor, but they weren't afraid to give it a voluptuous malt body. I can see myself making this a go-to brew if the price was right.
