Sampled at the 12th Anniversary IPA Festival at the Bistro in Hayward.
A - The beer pours a deep amber color. One inch of head, good lacing. Pretty standard.
S - This one is all C's; chinook, columbus, and cascade. Not unlike Drake's IPA.
T - The beer is all chinook; plenty of citrus, aromatic, but with a bitter aftertaste. Malty backbone, but you don't get it until the end.
M - Medium bodied with a mildly viscous lacing.
D - Very tasty, but it's really a festival beer. Not much unlike Drake's IPA; the only difference, really, is the whirlpool chiller.

22 oz. bomber poured into Golden Road tulip glass. Bottled on 7/1/14, drank on 7/25/14.
A: A very appealing gold -- fairly opaque, and with a decent-sized foam head that lingers.
S: Intoxicating aroma that fills the glass. Tropical fruits, some mild sugar and pine are all abundantly present.
T: Sweet with a slightly bitter finish. Those tropical fruit tones and sugary malts are at the forefront, with the pine coming in on the backend.
M: Starts off on the medium side, but gets a bit heavier as it warms. Some pretty mild carbonation and a non-resiny finish still make these very pleasant.
O: This beer is everything it's supposed to be; some amazing aromas and a hop profile that also delivers some great tastes, too. It's a very good IPA for summer -- finding a great balance between flavor and body, while not possessing alcohol content that's going to make it difficult to drink in the sun.
