Had this beer at the barrel house during the hopocalypse release. Pours a pretty, hazy sunset gold, with a firm two fingers of foam, very similar in looks to a wheat beer. The nose has earthy tones of forest and wet stone along with some herbal qualities as well. Sme faint melon is at the end. The taste brings notes of tarragon, thai basil along with hints of melon straw and pine. Finishes with bright carvonation as well as a pleasant bitterness. Cool i got to try this without going to the closing ceremonies, might have appreciated this more if i put my body through a hell week of big beers which this was made for.
