Free spirited Panty Peeler Tripel pours rambunctiously into your glass, releasing its engaging aroma. Curacao (bitter) orange peel and coriander create a beautiful yet bolder tripel by infusing color, citrus and spice. Belgian yeast adds playful character. Bottle conditioning assures a perfectly heady experience.

Brewed as a Belgian tripel but with American boldness, Panty Peeler is delicious yet spirited. Originally named Extreme Polar White Bier, it got nicknamed "Panty Peeler" along the way. Then we translated it to French for a while: Épluche-Culotte. Now we're back to calling it Panty Peeler and we've kicked up the coriander and orange peel to represent its original design.

I loved this beer. Nice touches of orange and coriander with other bit of citrus. Was very smooth and refreshing for a beer with that high alcohol content. Did remind me of a wit with a bit more pronounced flavor. Got it on a work trip in Fairbanks. Only wish I could find it in Maryland.

From a bomber. Amber color with a thin layer of cream head. Smells of orange and spices. Medium body and slick feel. Tastes of wheat with orange peel and coriander. A tasty brew, and I can tell tripel is the intent, but there are parts of this that give me a Wit or Hefeweizen vibe

this is more like an imperial wit than a tripel, with the additions of orange peel and coriander, its sweet, malty, boozy, and assertively flavored, its coriander heavy, ester driven, spicy and hot, lots of beer in the glass here. the aroma and flavor are the same from the tap, generic citrus, toasted coriander seed, a light fennel note, some floral honey, green pear, brandy, confectioners sugar, and dried stone fruit, really pretty intense. its certainly wheat based, but might have an additional sugar spike as well, lots of body but not heavy in the traditional sense. i think this intentionally pretty boozy, and i dont dislike that part of it, but its a lot, and a little of this goes a long way. lemon and orange zestiness, slight malt oxidation, fortified white wine, and white pepper all come out as it warms, and this is a slow sipper despite it having nice carbonation. these guys are making some pretty out there beers, and this is a good example of that, bold in every way and not like other tripels ive had. its a little clunky to me though, not as expertly refined as it could be, and maybe a little overdone on the whole, but its a cool style twist and i enjoyed getting to drink on this. definitely one of a kind.

edit: i liked this a lot less the second time around, from the bottle. overly sweet and estery, even phenolic, fuller feeling too, and although i had already had a lot to drink when it got opened, it was not as enjoyable as i remember from last summer, really not my favorite, bringing down a couple of scores...

Poured a slightly hazy, orange/amber color with a bit of a white head that quickly dissipated. Aroma was mainly sweet, malty with some orange peel. Taste was malty with a good hit of Belgian yeast and orange peel, with a small hint of coriander spice - pretty sweet. Thin mouth feel. Overall a good beer that I would try again.

Poured into a chalice, the appearance was a hazy golden yellow/orange/amber colored body with a half finger white head that quickly dies leaving some super light lacing.
The aroma has a little bit of orange peel, some coriander that adds a bit of spiciness, a little bit of lemon all backed up with some light Belgian yeast.
The flavor is sweet yet spicy and somewhat malty, orange/coriander aftertaste, dry spicy finish.
Its somewhat easy on the palate, almost medium bodied and had a good carbonation about it.
Overall, good somewhat sessionable tripel as the ABV didn't seem like it was felt. I'd have again.
