Northern Lights Amber is a brilliant copper colored ale with a slightly off white head. Its aroma is redolent of citrusy hops with caramel and toasty notes appearing as the beer warms. Caramel features prominently in its flavor, while the body is round and moderately dry. The hops play a supporting role in the flavor while keeping the caramel richness in check and providing a clean finish.

On tap at the pub, Northern Light Amber is clear bronze with a small, off-white head, leaving light lace.
Smell is sweet and malty, with what is becoming Moose's Tooth's pervasive cream soda note.
Taste is bready, with a light sweetness and bitter finish. Pretty simple, but it work's. As they cited, the ultimate compromise beer (as in when the group can't decide on a pitcher you'll all like, you order this, which no one will like, but not hate either, and is easy enough to slurp down).
Mouthfeel is dry and crisp, with a medium-light body.
Drinkability is not bad, decent flavor for the size, but boring and rather forgettable in the end.

Everybody will enjoy this beer, except for me. I'm at a point in my life where I hate and reject anything that resembles the macro stuff and this is too bland for me.

On tap at the Brewpub.
A - Pours a light, clear amber color with a near white head. Light lacing patches left on the glass.
S - Malty, bready scents dominate here.
T - A nice light combo of malts and hops. I was surprised how hoppy of and amber this was, not in a hop punch, but in flavor.
D - Light body and average carbonation.
O - Light and sessionable amber.
