On draught at The Moose's Tooth, appearence is ruddy dark brown with a small, creamy tan head.
Smell is modest, some chocolate and fruit, cassis.
Taste is pretty boozy, with prune notes from the plum esters and dark malts. There's a sharp metallic after taste.
Mouthfeel is off - dry and medium bodied.
Drinkablity is meh. This one has enough rough edges indicitive to question the execution, but the core components of a Belgian Stout (as its billed at the pub), which speaks to sound design.

Went downhill as I had it. Started off rich and smokey and by the end of a 10oz glass, ended up fairly obnoxious and not very good. For some reason a bitterness was prevalent throughout the beer. Remember though this is a year to year beer. This being the 2015 edition. The 2013 edition was a much better.

Darth Delirium is on the chalkboard and is listed as a "Belgian style stout" But really seems like just a dark strong ale.
Pours a deep black with ruby highlights visible through the bottle. Head is ok at first but dissipates fast. Nose is of dark fruits and spice. They call this a belgian style stout. Great flavor but this is defenitely not a stout IMO. I would say it is a dark strong ale. Dark fruits, some slight cherry and vanilla with some good spice flavors. belgian malts and yeast tones. A bit of alcohol on the finish but overall the abv is well masked. Mouthfeel is kind of thin, but not terribly watery. Drinkability is pretty good, but it doesnt matter b/c it is only available on tap, and they wont let you have more than two 10oz pours! A good offering from the tooth once again, nice to see a big beer from them every once in a while.
