On my hunt for non-chemically pimped up Kriek beers I ended up with a few good advices after posting on the BA forum. This was one of them.
A: A great blood red color with a pink two finger head.
S: Cherries, marzipan, cloves and some citrus notes.
T: SOUR... and then cherries, almonds, something woody and a slight bitterness.
M: Low carbonation and a dry finish.
D: Because of the sourness it's not a beer that I will drink a lot. Still SO MUCH better than all this Krieks that are nothing more than beer with added cherry juice and artifial sweeteners.
