A- A very beautiful clear ruby red with a pink head that somehow has not diminished throughout the glass as I was expecting.
N- Funk and barnyard are present right away with some sourness, the cherries are noticeable but they do not dominate the nose like other Krieks on the market.
T- Right away this is bracingly sour, kinda one dimensional with some tart cherries blended then another sour punch with tart apples and lemons on the dry finish to suck the cheeks in and drain the saliva glands.
M- Light carbonation with sparkling little bubbles that accentuate the sourness.
D- I am in the midst of finishing off a 750 and I am having no problems. I would however prefer to share this with someone. As a huge fan Cantillons this is far from the best I have had, but it is still remarkably better than most of the fruit sour/wilds out on the market.
