375ml bottle poured into an oversized red wine glass.
A: It pours a beautiful golden straw color with two fingers of frothy white head. The head recedes quickly to a small white blanket and it leaves no lacing.
S: The smell is really sour/tart fruit up front, lemons, apples, and grapes. That is followed by a waft of barnyard funk and some oak barrel. An absolutely great smelling gueuze.
T: Starts with a nice puckering sour kick that smoothly transitions into the flavor of the fruit. The brett makes itself known as I swish it around in my mouth, the oak surfaces as well. There is an earthy element at play that hints at hay and dirt. This beer is expertly blended as all the flavors just fade magnificently into each other.
M: As a swish it in my mouth it feels light and lush. It makes the beer feel much bigger than it actually is. In my opinion the feel really elevates the overall experience.
D: One of the best brews I have had in a while. I have been on a hops hiatus and the sour world has been a pleasant surprise!

375ml Bottle part of a private order
Appearance - Gold colour with a smaller size white coloured head. There is an average amount of carbonation showing and there is some great lacing. The head lasted for around 4-5 minutes before it was gone.
Smell - Citric, funk, apples, bread/grains
Taste & Mouth - There is a below average amount of carbonation and I can taste apricot, citric acid, and breads/grains. There is also some apples anda bit of a medicinal flavour.
Overall - Sour and funky like other gueuzes I've had, but this one has some nuances and complexities. Each sip seems to reveal different flavours. Not mind blowing, but one of the best withing the style that I've had.
