Pours a slightly hazy golden honey color with a solid half inch cream head that lingers as a ring of foam around the glass rim.
Very fruity, sour apple, acetic, vinegar, with a bit of bready malt and wine must comprise the aroma. There's a somewhat vegetal character. Floral notes emerge as it warms.
Acetic acid, lemons, limes, tart cherries, and a slightly bitter finish are accompanied by lactic acid and a hint of earthiness. The finish is clean and fairly vinegary.
Body is moderate, with fairly high carbonation and a somewhat dry finish. It's very refreshing and effervescent.
Overall, a fairly complex sour. Not a beginner's choice. Very tart and dry and refreshing.
