Capped and Corked bottle, dated 3/17/2010
Pours out of the bottle a clear and golden. the 1.5" of bright wite head recedes to a ring leaving no lace.
You can smell it from feet away. Sour and fruity with a lot of funk.
The taste is almost overwhelmingly sour. The yeast stands out a bit more than from the smell.
In the mouth it does wonders. Light and crisp at the beginning, smooth throughout but then almost puckering at the end.
I wish I had gotten another matching bottle to compare to in a years time. This was fantastic

Reviewed from notes. Had on-tap at Mr. Dunderbak's. Served in a large tulip glass.
A: Hazy deep gold with a big fluffy white head - this almost glows in the light. Moderate visible carbonation.
S: Dry, modest funky barnyard, with a bit of tart fleshy fruit.
T: Dry, tartness, funk and sour, with almost apricot and grape flavors in the back of the mouth and on the exhale. Develops more lemon citric tartness and funk as it warms through the drink.
M: Light crisp body, good carbonation sensation, and very low alcohol presence.
O: Very, very good. Although there is less funk than I expected (at least on draft), truly a very good beer.
