Small bottle served at The Publick House in Brookline, MA.
Appearance: Glowing red color with a thin white head. Perfect lacing and head retention in the narrow Cantillon flute-like glass. A little bit of carbonation flows to the top.
Smell: Dry, tart, and sweet with raspberries.
Taste and Mouthfeel: Dry on the palate but still sweet with a boold raspberry flavor. The dryness lingers and leaves the palate feeling cleansed. No sugary or syrupy residue is left on my palate despite the sweetness of the beer. There is a faint vinous quality in the tartness backed by a sandy feel.
Drinkability: This one is easily drinkable and served me well as a dessert beer.
