Served in a chalice, poured from a 12 oz. corked bottle.
A - Bright translucent red with a very fine collar of bubbles around the edge.
S - subtle raspberry and weak vinegar aroma. Not as funky as other lambics I've had.
T - Delicate sourness with a great raspberry flavor. One of the finest tasting lambics I've tasted. Such a great balance of sour and fruit.
M - Great mouthfeel. The body is smooth but thick, like a fine red wine, only accentuated by the very delicate carbonation. An amazing sipper.
D - I shared the bottle with a friend, but i could easily sip through the whole bottle myself. Maybe not more than that, but it's still very drinkable.
Overall - An excellent lambic. Subtle, balanced, and easy drinking. I'd definitely buy it again if I can find it again.
