PWoods is killing it tonight. Now he breaks out an '05 Cantillon Rose de Gambrinus.
Pours a reddish gold in color with a nice, frothy quarter inch head. Smell is funk. All funk, with a little bit of raspberry fruit coming in afterwards.
This is bitter and funky as all get out. There's a nice fruit flavor that compliments this. Every time a drink a Cantillon I try to remind myself why I don't buy more of this stuff on a regular basis. It cellars for awhile and it's standout.
It's tough to differentiate between sourness and carbonation, but this one has it.
