375 ml corked and capped green bottle dated December 11, 2011 poured into a Cantillon branded long stemmed tulip glass
Pours a raspberry red with dark pink accents and a pink sea foam-like one and half finger head that quickly dissipates. Over-ripened berries, cherry notes, barnyard funk, earthiness, and mild vinegar on the nose. Opens with acidic sour that moderates to tart raspberry, floral notes, some sweetness, and musty funk. Finishes dry with tart raspberries and a citric sour bite. Effervescent carbonation and light bodied. A very enjoyable framboise that paired perfectly with Moon Dust triple creme brie from Canada.
