Pours a beautiful dark pinkish red, with a big fluffy pink head, about 2 fingers. Reduces quickly, leaves a bit of bubbles up top and minimal lacing. Beautiful color.
Smell is some raspberry, lemon, green apple, little bit of funk. Pretty nice.
That is really, ridiculously mouth-puckeringly sour. This is probably the most sour beer I've ever had. Once you get over that, there's the raspberry, the lemon, and maybe a little bit of a flowery taste? Bit of musty funk, maybe a hint of hay. Quite tasty.
Cantillon always delivers on the mouthfeel. Light, dry, excellent carbonation. Wonderful.
Drinkability is similarly excellent. Once the initial blast of sour dies down, this becomes just ridiculously drinkable. Very light, refreshing, great for the season. Another hit.
