375ml Bottled 18 April 2011. Best by 12/2012
Beautiful ruby red color with orange highlights, nearly opaque with light haziness, and a small bone-white head that lasts a bit.
Aroma is somewhat muted. Light tartness, more like an unfruited sour ale.
Flavor too is a little less pronounced that I expected. Raspberries are a little light but come through on the finish and have a nice depth to them. Less sour than anticipated, but has a light tartness at the end.
Mouthfeel is light and refreshing. Very dry.
Overall a slight let down. Looks amazing but the raspberries are a little understated. Sourness seems to come out stronger as it warms up and helps the beer be a little better overall.
