A - Bottled 2007. Pours a cloudy gold, with a thin ring for a head. This can be refreshed to a light layer, but there is no visible carbonation if the drink is left to sit.
S - Barnyard funk, solvent, apple, grape, nettle, very slight floral aroma.
T - Starts with hay, apple and citrus. Flavours remain, but become rounder and warmer in the middle of the drink. As expected it has a nice tart edge, although not as mouth-puckering as suspected. Sour, dry, lingering finish, with more of the lemon joined by the solvent.
M - Light-bodied initially, but becomes rounder and fleshsier in the middle. Soft carbonation cuts through this and it finishes bone-dry.
D - A really good subtle, refined Lambic. Yet another beer from Cantillon that hits the mark.
