Poured from a 750 ml bottle into a Cantillon tulip glass. Purchased in Wakefield, RI.

A- Pours a hazy dull orange-hay colored body with a fast moving, fizzy white head that rises quickly and reduces just as quickly. Lots of fast moving carbonation. No lacing.

S- Smells pretty acidic, particularly citrusy with aromas of oranges, funky yeast, lemon peel, hay, and a musty, wet wood aroma in the background. Malt is definitely present. The last few sips produce a cheesy aroma.

T- The second it hits your tongue, Vigneronne's wild yeast punches you in the taste buds with a sour burst of lemon juice, tart grapes, sour apple, and orange juice. The follow through is woody, musty, and full of citrus rind, but the sharp tart fruit notes really take center stage here. Very forward with the brett and quite tasty. Aftertaste is tart and very dry.

M- Super crisp and refreshing. I downed the first glass in under a minute because it is that drinkable and thirst quenching.

This was my second Cantillon beer, and I have to say that it also lived up the the hype. The puckering tartness works perfectly here. Extremely balanced. Maybe a little less complex than other sours I've tried, but nonetheless world class.

750 mL bottle of Cantillon Vigeronne 2012 courtesy of fthomasl

Lightly hazed electric orange. Not much for retention or lacing, pretty typical Cantillon pour.

Nose is an interesting combo of musty basement, sharp acidity and grape juice. Definitely get the brett presence.

Wow...this is amazeballs. How can you get this much sweet grape winey-ness and sharp acitidity to balance with the delicate brett over such a light grain bill. The white grapes really shine. This might be my favorite Cantillon I have had to date. Thanks Frank!

750 ml bottle served from a lambic basket into a Zwanze Day taster glass. 2009 vintage. Big thanks to sweemzander for the share.

A: Pours a hazy orange color with a minimal white head forming on the pour. It recedes to a to very thin ring. No lace.

S: White wine grapes with some light wheat sweetness. Very soft with tart white grape aspect. Light oak.

T: Oaky and funky with some white grape tartness. Dry oaky tannins with a little bit of mineral in the finish.

M: Light and bubbly carbonation. Tart and dry finish with a light body.

O: Very good. Not over the top with sourness or tartness, but it has enough of oak and white grape tartness to draw you back in.

This one pours golden and somewhat orange color with just a small cap of white bubbles.

The aroma is nice and tart with green grape skins and a bit of funk. The palet is tart with green grapes and hints of cedar wood. Nice and crisp.

The body is light with good carbonation. Overall this one is great. Another real enjoyable brew from these guys.

75 cl bottle at Delerium

A: Clear, light yellow, moderate bubbles.

S: Sour, white wine is the main smell. A little citrus hides behind that, but not much.

T: Tastes about like it smells. Mostly the sour funk you would expect from a Cantillon but with the accompaniment of a sour white wine. I still think there's citrus at the end, but again, barely there. Ends with a bite from the sourness and the carbonation. I don't think it works as well as the kriek or the framboise, but it's certainly not bad.

M: Light, carbonated, fizzy. Think Champagne.

O: Currently my least favorite Cantillon, so still better than a lot of the beer I've had in my life. If you're around Cantillon a lot, give this one a try eventually. But if you've only got a little time and can try only a few, I might let this one slide and stick with the Lou Pepes, St. Lumnivous, Fou Foune, etc...
