Thanks to farundrpar for bringing this one to our Kebab and Cantillon dinner party.

From a 750 into a tumbler
Bottled 24 November 2011
Best Before October 2015

APPEARANCE: Pours a one finger, medium looking white head with decent retention. Hazy amber orange in color with lower levels of carbonation evident. Head fades to a thick ring but leaves no real lacing down the glass.

SMELL: A slightly milder aroma of lemon esters and green grapes. Some funky, dank aromas in there with a tough of floral notes as well. Quite pleasant.

TASTE: Follows the nose nicely. Sour, tart lemon up front with some green grapes and white wine flavor as well. Funkiness is there in the middle into the finish, with a touch of mould and must as well. Some bitter floral notes at the finish before a mostly sour and acidic finish that lingers mildly on the palate. Pretty flavorful and enjoyable.

PALATE: Medium body and medium levels of carbonation. Creamy on the palate, goes down smooth and finishes rather dry. Puckering and somewhat acidic after the swallow.

OVERALL: This one was rather enjoyable. Perhaps a bit more acidic than the other Cantillon fruit lambic we had that night, which may turn some people off. I found it quite pleasant and would glaldy drink this one again. Thanks again farundrpar!

Burnished gold with white film.
Musky mead and grape on the nose.
Honey and white vinegar, some toasty grain, with grape skin tartness.
Green apple skin finish and acetic linger.
Crisp, light-medium, fizzy.

Not unlike wine. Not that sour either. A clean if bracing palate cleanser.
