look: 4.75 | smell: 4.75 | taste: 4.75 | feel: 4.75 | overall: 5

Bottle poured into wine glasses and split amongst a few friends at 33wine. Just missed having this bad boy on draft.

A - Pours a a yellowish straw tinted color with minimal head surprisingly for this beer. 1-2 finger white foam had that slowly recedes back into the glass. Somewhat cloudy but clears up after resting in the glass

S - Smell is of loads of apricot, definitely some straw and hay aromas coming through on this. Hints of white peach coming through.

T - Taste follows the nose on this one with loads of apricot not he front mixed with a nice balance of lactic acidity, some hints of the straw flavors with mixed notes of earthy funk and wood.

M - Mouthfeel is about perfect on this one. Not too light but very crisp and smooth at the same time. Fairly dry

O - Overall this has been my favorite Cantillon thus far. Will be seeking this one out so that I can dome a bottle myself.

2014 bottle --> this is perfect fresh, do not age this beer! Drank alongside 12 and 13. More apricot than any other bottle with wet hay and apricot pit skin and flesh on the nose. Not very tart which is nice for this, strong peach flavors followed by that straw/way dryish finish, but seeminglyy juicy on the front end.

2013 bottle --> A little more funky on the nost, slightly more moldy, wet hay smells accompanied by a lesser amount of apricots on the nose. Taste is more acidic, less apricot, and more funk.

2012 Bottle --> Smells like green apples and white grape skins here, not too pleasant. Taste is overly acidic with minimal apricot flavor left here. Taste like sour green apples with a funky finish. Least favorite of the 3.

Fresh wins here.
