Formerly Pineau d'Aunis and Pinot d'Aunis.
Lambic d'Aunis was originally a test batch using Pineau D'Aunis grapes provided by Olivier Lemasson at Les Vins Contés. This beer is very similar to what was later brewed and released as Zwanze 2011, however that beer also had Brambling Cross hops added. Pineau d’Aunis grapes are a minor grape from the Loire region of France.

Pour at de Garde 10th Anniversary. Ruby pour with a small, thin pinkish head. Fruity aroma, red grapes and pit fruit. FRuitiness carries over to the taste, with the requisite tartness and funky notes. Splendid.

The third pour on the 2021 Zwanze Day lineup. This was my favorite of the bunch. So light and delicate, with a gentle berry-sweet note on it. Incredible finish. This is the sort of beer I could sit with and spend an afternoon sipping.

2017 bottle, drank on Lisa's bday in 2020 since we wouldn't be in Belgium for it...

Pours a ruby red, with some carbonation that quickly dissipates. The aroma is a tart grape; the taste is a faded wine that becomes a bit more funky while working through the bottle.
Bottled 13 November 2017; purchased at the brewery during 2018 Quintessence.
