A: Pours a hazy brown/dark apricot color. The large white head quickly recedes, giving way to a thin head that sticks around for awhile.
S: The first whiff is of sour vinegar, followed by both leathery and lemon notes. Backing this is a sweet malty scent, maybe even sweet cherries.
T: There is a quick hit of tart citrus, lemon and apricot, then the taste moves on to some funk. What I'm getting from this funkiness is a bit of soapiness. Following this is a lingering sourness that is pleasant. I'm also getting a bit of oakiness.
M: Light and smooth, with a higher level of carbonation. The sourness lingers in the mouth well after the beer is gone.
D: This beer is good and sour, and it lingers awhile. My only complaint is that there isn't the same hint of sweetness in the taste that there is in the nose.
