750 ml bottle poured into a Darkness snifter, sharred with a fellow BA.
Bottled: November 21, 2010
A- Pours a two finger light pink head, really attractive color, ruby red/ maroon color, looks very appealing.
S- Wow incredible, big funky aroma, cobwebs, musky, barnyard funk, sour grape skin, raspberries notes, nice oak characteristics from the oak casks, cannot wait to try this.
T- Wow so smooth, puckering at first but then mellows out, really impressive, I get the grapes upfront, barnyard funkiness, muskiness comes out, sour lemon notes come out as well.
M- Medium mouth feel, perfect amount of carbonation, sour, puckering, surprising clean finish.
O- I am really impressed with this, the aroma was amazing, and I was expecting the taste to be really puckering but it was very mellow and balanced, I absolutely love this beer, definite gem from Cantillon.
