I stopped by this place with a couple friends of mine, you know this place carries craft brew just by looking at the windows when you pull in, signs from Bell's, Terrapin, Flying Dog just to name a few and a billboard boasting 500 or so craft beers. The place was pretty laid out to the right when you walked in you had more of the liquor, to the left was all beer and a ton of it. They has a few offerings that I havn't seen in southern palm beach county, good selection of rare rogues and also a few nice gift sets, I picked up the St. Bernadus with included glass. Over all the service was pretty bad, I dont want to knock it to much but I believe the guy that was working that night was more of a fill in and really was just there. I have heard great things about the owners, maybe next time.

I am so sad that Beverage Outlet is closing on Jan 5, 2009. If you are in the area, please give them patronage becuase rent has gone up for them. This store is exceptional for South Florida. For some reason, it has been difficult to fine excelent beers in the Jupiter/ West Palm Beach area.
I found the helpers to be fairly courteous, and led me to the right aisles. There is 4 rows of beers from all over the world. There were gift sets, craft brews, IPA's, Belgian, German, etc. I found several sets of St. Bernardus, Abbaye du, val-dieu, corsendork, larger tripel and farmhouse ale bottles.

If you're in Jupiter this is the place to be. Really in Palm Beach County this is the place to be. Case and Keg might be better, but this store has a very good selection. Service is good in the sense that the woman who owns the store is very friendly and well intentioned. It suffers because she knows nothing about beer. Luckily she takes advice well. The last time I was there she asked me if St. Bernardus was good. I obviously told her it was and sure enough, the next time I was there she had it in stock. Whatever you can find in Florida, which is admittedly lacking, you can find at Beverage Outlet.

I drive from central to south Florida frequently, so I thought I'd give this place a try after seeing it in beerfly. By the way it is several miles EAST of 95. Definitely a very interesting selection. Quite a few South American beers, and a bunch of imports from all over, a good number of which I've never heard of. Definitely a good selecton of micros too. Some 5L cans I'd never seen either. Overall not a bad selection by Florida standards. Service is something else though. When I brought a mixed six to the counter, the older guy (the owner?) seemed upset because he thought I had broken up other six packs. They have a good selection of singles, with six pack holders hanging on a rack (which a nice stock guy pointed out to me) so I really don't have any idea why he thought I had broken up other sixers. He wasn't terribly nice when I told him that I had not, that they came from the singles, he just seemed rude. I typically don't really seek any help in liquor stores, I know what I want to try when I see it, but the guy at the counter probably could have been nicer. Definitely worth checking out for the selction, Don't expect friendly service from everyone there though.

On my trip to South Florida, after being disappointed by Case and Keg, I wasn't expecting much out of this one.
I was wrong.
The whole side wall is cold cases with 3 full rows of beers from all over the world. A good portion of the beers are from central america, but also they have a great selection of american micros.
I was able to find quite a few brews that I would normally not be able to find in Orlando.
The service at the place is kind of lackluster, but overall, this is definitely worth a look if you're in the South Florida area.

This store is a gem in the rough for the south Florida area. The store owner, who seemed quite proud of his beer selection (and for good reason), lamented how hard it was to locate/purchase products for retail. He said 'You wouldn't believe how many hours I've spent on the Internet, calling suppliers and just promotion in general." For anyone coming from New England, Florida seems to be bleak in comparison when it comes to finding beer imports, microbrews, etc. Beverage Outlet is a small store located just 3 miles or so off I-95 heading west in Jupiter. Its in a white building adjacent to an auto parts store.
Among the 500 or so selections available; there is an emphasis on South American and Mexican beer, also British, German and Belgian. Quite a few hard cider selections as well. Definitely worth a stop if you're around Jupiter/West Palm Beach area.

On Indiantown Road in Jupiter, Fl. A better than average selection of American micros and Belgian beers. A full Shipyard display including bombers of the Prelude, Longfellow, and Bluefin Stout. Which is a rarity for around here. They had about 4-5 rows just dedicated to beers. Also a long case of coolers as well. Lots of singles to choose from. The place also sells kegs. Some beer was past it's prime. I found 2 2001 Anchor OSA's which I got for $.99 each, although they were sitting there well over a year. Service on my first trip was lackluster, but they were advertising a Penn/Shipyard tasting next weekend. Good enough for another look, that's for sure.
