Released in Aug 2015. Lemon & Grassy, India Pale Ale brewed with Lemon Zest
Our summer IPA features tangy, floral hops on the nose with aromas of fresh-cut grass and lemon peel. On first sip, tangelo and lemon zest burst through with emerging hints of spice from the hops, all balanced by a faint caramel malt backbone.

Picked up a bomber from the Happy Valley BevMo fridge 3-18-17 for $7.99. No bottling date but suspect it was late September 2016 based on Untappd 2016 reviews.
Beer poured golden with a very nice white head that is leaving some lacing. Beer has broken down due to age as there is sediment at the bottom of the bomber.
Nose is light lemon and floral hops.
Taste is lemon forward from presumably the Sorachi Ace theme, a touch earthy, over a nice large malt base finishing with lemon zest bitterness.
Feel is medium bodied and smooth.
Overall this is a very nice beer despite the age. Would love to try this fresh as i love the lemon theme!

22oz bottle with my FW snifter glass
Noted on 08/14/15
Sunburst yellow-orange hue. Frothy paper white head holds strong. Lots of lacey curtains spread down across the glass. Looks almost unfiltered with the similar appearance of a wheat beer.
Lemon yes. Most certainly. Grass, maybe. It is somewhat herbal. Malt is fairly absent minus some sugary sweetness.
The lemon flavor dominates which is nice. Lots of Vitamin C zing here. Has an earthy herbal note albeit somewhat muted. More so the way of light spices.
Lower levels of actual mouth bitterness. Smooth and well balanced in that manner with the alcohol well masked. A little thin but carries well. Crisp with a dry froth in the finish. Nice lasting residue stick.
I really wanted to like this one more but it was just okay good. Needs just a bit more zesty pop!

Good clarity with tons of lacing after every sip. Beautiful. Tons of lemon flavor and subtle grass. Honey sweetness and light bread malt character.

Tasted in a pint glass from draught at Firkin on September 23, 2016. Look is amber gold with a thick off-white head and lingering lacing. Smell is bitter citrus, grass and pale malt aromas. Taste is biter citrus and pine. Feel is medium in body.
