Always curious to find out what happens when worlds collide, we combined a slice of rustic Americana with a rising star from Down Under. Galaxy hops, grown exclusively in Australia and revered for their clean, bright aromas, lend notes of passion fruit, citrus and peach. Comet, a descendant of a North American original, packs a wildly bitter punch with an invigorating blend of grapefruit, lemon and orange flavors.

I finger white foam, moderate density, not impressively long lasting and only minimal lacing. Chill haze, rather than crystal clear. Not a lot of smell, but what was there was fruity enough to be very inviting. Really like the flavor and mouthfeel. Mouthfeel was heavy side of moderate, maybe even the lite side of heavy. Very smooth very clean finish. I like the taste a lot even though no single fruit or other flavor strikes me as dominating or obvious. Nice balance of fruit and bitter and malts. I need more of these to further decipher why I like this so much, but i definitely do.

Picked up a 16 oz can from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 7-16-20 for $2.99. No discernable canning date (late June is my guess); consumed 9-9-20. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured golden orange with a very nice white head that is leaving lacing behind.
Nose is malty, with a trace of earthy hops.
Taste is very nice, substantial malt backbone combines nicely with gooseberries and peaches. Finishes with a nice rind bitterness; 8/10 on my scale.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and both smooth and refreshing.
Overall not a fragrant beer, but certainly tasty!

Bottom of the can stamped "freshest by 10/01/19."
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking chill hazed bronzed yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that hung around for a good little bit, nice looking stickiness, filmy.
The aroma had a wonderful bouquet of sweet floral and melon (somewhat like honeydew) then clean honey-ed biscuits. Some lemon and even further underneath is a super light touch of passion fruit.
The flavor streamed into a wonderful blend of that previously mentioned floral and melon sweet biscuity character. Mellow aftertaste of biscuits, honey and melon.
The mouthfeel was medium bodied with a good sipping ability causing me to notice a good sturdy carbonation as a West coast styled DIPA. Semi-crisp finish of floral, melon and a little bit of lemon coated malt.
Overall, just acknowledge that this is a West coast styled DIPA and does not meet or even need to meet anything requirements of being a New England styled one. Therefore, I will rate this high and not care about anyone rating this low.

Pours a slightly hazy amber yellow with some light particulate matter suspended in the beer. Minimal head that's quick to fade. Aroma of roasted lemon, fairly mild. More classic hoppiness than fruit notes, a nice bitterness that I enjoy. Balanced with a decent malt backbone without being very sweet. Not the best I've tried but it's a solid offering and enjoyable, and it won't drain your wallet.

Pours a pale golden color with a thin head. The citrus in the aroma is dominant. The flavor has a bitterness that is present throughout and very pleasing.

Best by 10/08/19. Clear yellow/gold pour, white top, some lacing. Citrusy, skunky, catty hops with a sour grain note on the nose. A bit watery in taste and feel. Dry finish with a mildly narcotic type bitterness that lingers. Some alcohol presence. A bit boring and mediocre, despite the unique hop bill on paper.

Clear yellow ale with a small white colored head. It looks like a Lager.
Smells sweet and fruity. Bitter pine resin and passion fruit. Scent of pineapple and cat pee.
Starts out kind of neutral and tasting of soda crackers. Mild and not very bitter at all. Tastes mostly of pine and aspirin but not strongly so.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall it isn't offensive. But it isn't much flavor either.

Had on tap, labeled as a DIPA.
Pours a clear golden tan. Lightly muted aroma, with grassy notes complementing a fruit salad. Clean and clear, doesn't drink like a double IPA.
