Large 'bomber' style brown bottle? Poured into a weizen glass.

A - hazy straw yellow color with cloudy orangish hughes. Nice fluffy and creamy white head on top. Decent lacing.

S - ripe banana, cloves with some nice spice. Very sweet aroma. Maybe some lemon with other fruity notes. A hint of wheat in the aroma as well.

T - hefe styles always taste nice. Full of lovely sweet flavors. Bananas and clove notes are plentiful. Hint of spice Im assuming comes from the cloves. Smooth lemon like taste takes control of the finish leaving a satisfying finish and aftertaste in the mouth.

M - fairly light bodied brew. Thick textured and smooth. Very easy to drink. Very refreshing on hot humid evenings.

O - German brewers have always been masterminds of beer. Ayinger delivers a great hefeweizen with this brew as they do with Many other styles. While there are great U.S. Brewed Hefeweizens you can't go wrong with a great German style crafted by a great German brewery.

Cloudy golden yellow pour with a foamy two-finger white head. Really nice yeast and lemon aroma. Medium body that has a lot of spice and yeast flavors upfront. Lots of carbonation. Can also taste clove, light lemon, banana, and bread. Very traditional and a prime example of the style.

500ml bottle into nonic pint

a: an extremely pale yellow, almost looks like a hazy lemonade. two and a half fingers of head

s: mostly spices and malt up front. slight banana, slight citrus

t: spicy to start, but the lemon and slight orange come in quickly after. banana notes here and there, wheaty and bready throughout. the flavours are mellowed out and not very sharp, nothing jumps out at you. but this is good stuff

m: light and bubbly with somewhat prickly carbonation, but really smooth and a bit creamy

o: a great hefeweizen but i would opt for weihenstephaner's hefeweissbier at the LCBO because it's a bit better and $0.80 cheaper for the same amount of beer
