Comes out of the tap a hazy solar yellow with a thick white head that leaves some good lacing. Aroma strong, wheaty, lemony, and slightly sweet. Wheaty flavor has lemony and yeasty notes and just a hint of orange. Smooth, full-bodied, fizzy texture leaves a wheaty and lemony finish.

Thanks to Rob for sharing.

Color was hazy straw yellow with a half inch of white foam.

Smell was biscuit malty clean.

Taste is bananas and cloves, cleanly sweet, slightly earthy.

Mouthfeel is soft and creamy and the body holds together well. Tasty.

This brew poured out as a hazy golden color with a fluffy white head on top. The smell of citrus and wheat grains fill the nose. The taste of the beer has a nice soft wheat quality to it and finished with a nice amount of lemony zest in the aftertaste. The mouthfeel was smooth, gently carbonated and a little on the creamy side. Overall I thought this beer would be best to have in the summer time, no matter when you wanna have it though it's a pretty good choice when it comes to having a Weisse.

Pours an extremely hazy light gold body with a bright white head of extremely fine bubbles that leaves an delicate lacing behind. Aromas are sweet and fruity (mostly banana-like), with yeasty aromas of rising bread dough. Its flavors are consistent with the nose (except with a tiny bit of lemon peel) and with the profiles of its major German competitors, but with a sweeter finish. Its silky smooth texture is delightful.

Review from notes at World of Beer - Fort Myers on 10/21/11.

Poured on draft into a weizenglass.

Appearance: Pours a hazy banana yellow with a 3 finger snow white fluffy head. Excellent lacing.

Smell: Sweet banana, wheat and cloves.

Taste: Sweet fruity esters up front followed by banana in the middle before ending with clove and other spices at the finish. Aftertaste is very mild.

Mouthfeel: Light-to-medium-bodied with a low amount of carbonation.

Drinkability: Very high drinkability. You could drink several without much trouble.

Overall: Very good beer overall. One of the better hefeweizens on the market.

500ml bottle poured into a weizen glass.

Pours with a nice thick white head. Light straw color with a hazy appearance.

Clove esters and wheat twang in the aroma.

Lots of clove, bubble gum in the flavor. Wheat tartness and cracker malt flavors. Slight mineral notes.

Effervescent carbonation and smooth body. Finishes drier than other examples of the style, which is a good thing in my opinion.

Very refreshing hefeweizen. Would love to find this on draft.
